Using advanced techniques Barry Crake, Director of Bellissimo North East is able to match scar tissue with normal skin colour and tattoo fine hair strokes over scars that are visible around the head, heairlines, eyebrows or facial hair to make them less visible.

'People who have served in the armed forces already have mental trauma, so why should they have a constant physical reminder of what they have been through? I know people who have been left with scars and it affects their day to day lives. I wanted to do something to help'

The treatment would usually cost approximately £250 an hour, but we are offering the treatment free to those injured as a result of conflict.
